HELL YEAH BODY CON!!

I'm totally lusting on the body con trend.
Body con, short for body conscious, is basically a very tight stretchy cloth made to fit and show off every curve in your body. Body Con could either come in the form of a skirt, or a dress.
This trend was very popular circa 1980s and its back with a bang.
What I love about body con is that its very versatile and it works for both the day and the night look.
I find it better to rock a body con skirt with a cute loose tee or a cropped/flowy top since the bottom will be form fitting. Body con skirts are suuper appropriate for skinny girls that have curves and want to show of a bit...well, a lot of leg but not to worry, my chubby sistas can also rock the look with a pair of dark stockings/tights underneath to hide anything that you might not want exposed.

Body con skirts come in a wide range of floral prints(for the girly/summer look), tribal prints, stripes and they go well with cute flats, heels,converse shoes and basically all types of boots.
I'm yet to find any vendor who sells them in Nairobi but the search continues and I'll tell u guys where as soon as i discover a spot that stocks them.

10 THINGS I WANT THIS VALENTINES..

valentines is approaching..if you're single, it can be an awful, awful day for you.Now,as cruel cruel nature would have it, I, have never had a valentine. Yessir! I've been single for a really , i mean reallllly long time, and its cool, it doesn't really bother me much..(yeah right..) I've found ways to adapt. Roses and chocolates are all fine BUT if i had a valentine, I would want something that last longer than a week. Here's my wish list:

1. A pair( ..cos u need two:-)) of contact lenses.


2. I recently got thugged, my bag, my phone, the works, therefore, I need a cute new bag..


3. The Nairobi sun has been burning with a vengeance of its own. I've been looking for a nice pair of baggy shorts to rock on sunny weekends..


4. A nice wedge heel...


5. A pair of animal print heels..i've been dying to get those..


6.A sequined mini dress for the night scene..you cannot go wrong with sequins..I think..


7. A pair of nude heels..


8. Cropped pants..

9.Ripped skinnies..

10. And finally a boyfriend(A breathing, talking one). Anyone who has information regarding where I can get one of these, please contact me via uhidaya's facebook page..(desperate much:-))

EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!

No one loves controversy like I do!!!And when I heard about this, I was all over it like an addict on crack!...Its true what they say..every publicity is good publicity I wonder what they had to say about this(whoever they is..). I'm talking about the reaaly controversial United Colors of Benetton Ad Campaign.They used digitally manipulated images for their “UNHATE” campaign that was meant to promote tolerance and “global love.”
I looove the risk they took with these images, cos you just can't not see them! and the message is pretty clear..but the one where the Pope Benedict XVI kisses the imam had to come down after the Vatican protested, turns out religious types didn't take that one too well.I think that they make really neat (phone)wallpapers.

So what do you guys think?hit or miss?Who would you have preferred to see lock lips?is it a bird is it a plane?...so many questions, such little time!!!!....hahaha, xoxo my lovelies!!!
