Wanna look retro-girly on fancy an evening out? peplum is the way to go...originally popular in the 80's this trend has come back with a bang for all those daring fashionistas who want to add a little pizazz to their wardrobe.
The peplum trend is basically a dramatic ruffle along the waist area and it comes in assortments of peplum dresses, skirts and jackets..
It can be suuuuppper trendy but its best to stay away from it if you're conscious about your waist area because it will draw attention to it.
I gotta tell ya, this has to be one of my favorite trends ever!
Tina Fey and Michelle Williams worked it on the red carpet at the oscars this past weekend and I thought they looked sehr sehr chick no?
